What are sheepadoodles? See more pictures of them here.
A Sheepadoodle is a hybrid dog breed – a cross between an Old English Sheepdog and a Standard Poodle. Sheepadoodles are wonderful family-oriented dogs with a calm temperament and pleasing personality. They get along very well with other animals and children, but probably the best thing about them is that their coats are considered nearly 100% non-shedding. Sheepdogs are 85% hypoallergenic and Poodles are nearly 100% hypo-allergenic, so the cross between the two breeds creates a soft, wavy coat that won’t stick to all of your clothing & furniture! These dogs are eager to please, non-dominant, intelligent, extremely trainable and make great loyal companions, however they do require frequent exercise and grooming. We expect that our sheepadoodles will vary between 50-70 lbs as Willow (the Poodle mother) weighs 50 lbs. and Ziggy (the Old English Sheepdog father) weighs 65 lbs.

What’s special about our sheepadoodles?
We are not just Sheepadoodle breeders – we’re Sheepadoodle enthusiasts! We only have one pair of parents that we breed once per year and they are a huge part of our family. Our Standard Poodle and Old English Sheepdog both have amazing qualities, and combined we believe they make the perfect Sheepadoodle dog. Each Sheepadoodle puppy in the litter is given special individual attention to make sure they are feeding properly and interacting with people of all ages. We socialize our puppies with both people and cats from a young age so they will get along well in every type of family environment.

How much does it cost to adopt a sheepadoodle?
$1,500 USD + Delivery costs (if applicable).

What is the adoption process?

  1. Once you’ve decided that you’d like to bring one of our sheepadoodles home to join the family, you’ll need to fill out an adoption form.
  2. Before the puppies can go home at 8 weeks old, we will need to receive a payment of $1500 plus any delivery charges if applicable. You will also receive a small bag of food and your new puppy’s favorite toy, and we would love if you’d share photos and join your sheepadoodle’s siblings in our official Facebook group.
  3. Your puppy will need to see a vet for their second round of shots somewhere between 9-11 weeks of age and should be fixed at 6 months. You can find more information on how to care for your sheepadoodle here.

Where are the puppies located? Do you deliver?
Our puppies are born and bred with love in Minneapolis, Minnesota, however we are able to deliver puppies to nearby locations. For delivery rates and information, click here.

Do you remove the dew claws or dock their tails?
No – we do not want them to undergo any trauma within the first few days of life and we like to keep their tails natural, long, and beautiful. Not every puppy is naturally born with all of its dew claws, and unless we see any dew claws that look like they may pose a problem, we do not remove them. If you would like to have their dew claws removed, many vets recommend doing so at the time of getting them fixed as they are already under anesthesia however many vets agree that this is NOT a necessary procedure.

How can I find more resources on how to care for & train my sheepadoodle puppy?
We’ve put together a fantastic list of Pet Owner Resources that would be a great starting point to learning more about how to raise a healthy, happy sheepadoodle puppy, and we’re adding more all the time!
